OOPS :P Sajica x Convct

Stupid oversight on my behalf, my adult male Sajica (5"+) and my Female Convict (close to 2") have bred

They are defending there log in my pretty open tank which also has a Green Terror, 5 Severums, Firemouth amongst tons of other things

Doubt they will last 5 mins but my lesson with Cons....they literally will breed with anything available.

Like you said, cons will breed with anything. That is a really nice female too.

you may be surprised...Con females become very nasty with young fry around...I had a pair raise a succesful batch with a breeding pair of Jack Dempseys..in a 100 gallon tank.

Yeh i had some breed before in a agressive community, but most fish were juvis, this time round my tank is overstocked big time, so doubt they will have much of a hope with the 20+ tatras, Silver Dollars etc along with the other Cichlids.
