My Gouramis have begun spawning. The male has been building his nest and spawning with the female for about 2 hours now in the top right corner of my tank.

I wanted to know if I could use my specimen container and catch the bubbles in it to isolate them since they hatch "within 30 hours" and I don't want them to get eaten by their parents. There are no holes in the specimen cotainer, would that cause a lack of oxygen for the fry? I have work tomorrow and I don't know if I'll be home in time if I get the breeding isolation net afterwords.

thanks

Heres a picture of the "specimen container"

Yes, you can put them in there. Just flush it out once in a while with fresh tank water.

The specimen container should work. Just keep it covered, the humidity is important for the bubble nest to stay together.
