I actuallt have two tanks open but im saving one for future fry. I don't know if I'm getting bored or I'm just content with what I have...

I just parted with my jack dempsey pair I got bored with. I have a 5 ft 100g and nothing I want to put in it. This blue print doesn't leave me a ton of options but still no inspiration for anything ... smaller ca/sa species than can handle hard water and do well in groups in a 5 ft tank or a single glass banger. Any ideas??? Something different.

Big African cichlid rock scape.. or piranha shoal .. discus tank (if you use a peat gravel to soften) group of green terrors or snook

I'd love to try some type of mormyrid. I know some can get pretty big. I'd want to get one of the smaller species, but I've found it very difficult to find info on the different ones. Everything seems so general. But they are different! Lol

My lfs has a jade goby I'd love to have .. amazing colours and fins but it's get too big :(

Have 6 green terror at the moment Tomt37 Tomt37 Africans are real popular around my area. I've never been to interested in them myself. Maybe someday???

Hmmm.... Maybe thorichthys aureus would be a good fit? If I could find a good source

Oh doh of course ... they never appealed to me but recently have had haps and aulocanaras and must say they are very cool

Can't recommend a group of thorichthys or a group of Rheoheros lentiginosus enough.
I currently have a group of lents and I find them fascinating.

Meeki group and plants ccccccccccccccccccccc.jpg

I also found angel fish enjoyable in a group. Tank bred angels are not too fussy over ph and hardness as long as it's not too extreme.

I also like the look of figure of eight puffers and think a small group in a brackish tank would be nice.

Those thorichthys look fantastic Stanzzzz7 Stanzzzz7

I'm not to familiar with the species yet. Those are aureus gold?
