well my tank is only half full right now, and lost atleast an inch of water..... is that normal? even for a tank thats half full? how much do you lose per day?

like i said im awaiting for the floor beam for the basement to be put in ( pole and beam or whatever )
i lose about a gallon a day in my 25 gallon, but it has a fan on it at the moment to keep the temp below 70
no heaater ( tank stay at 80 on account of the house being so hot ) and alot of airationten ( sp )
Then that would be normal for your tank, I wouldn't be to worried. Just remember to top off with RO or distilled water if your going to. You might want to lower your spray bar if your worried about the water evaporating to much.
I keep the empty kitty litter containers filled with water. Then every morning I add a little water to my tank. I never thought about how much I'm losing.
