My wife and I are thinking about starting a local fish store because the one that was around closed down a year ago. I was wanting to know if anyone else works or runs a pet store? and If you can give my any help before I make the plunge. Like were to you get your fish (Wholesale) and stuff like that.

I would recomend that you work in a petshop for a while.... 3 to 6 months so you can find out which wholesalers are worth dealing with.
Also watch the overhead....... it will eat you alive.

unless you live in a city or larger town be careful. at least around here pet stores unless they a chains close in about 3 years
