Im in the market for buying new lighting for my 75 gal. jw if its worth getting LED or should i got with T5 seems a little cheaper because I found a 48" T5HO 2 bulb fixture for 35 bucks at Home Depot. Plus at the LFS 1 actinic 54 watt and 1 10000K 54 watt both for 15 a piece. So a total of 60 bucks? Or go with single bright LED Marineland 48" for 100? Cuz right now no way am i getting a double bright for round 250 and up(maybe some day). If anyone has any better ideas or has an opinion on the matter it would be great thanks.

I like the aquatraders, http://www.aquatraders.com/LED-Freshwater-Bright-p/56205.htm , four feet for $68 is pretty good. I have them on my 180 and would probably do the saltwater one if I could re-do it or just get 3 of the freshwater ones.

I have the same lights as mentioned by mitchb. I also use them on my 180g. I have two 4' and two 2' to make two rows 6' long if that makes sense. I'm quite pleased with the lights. They only cost me about $1.40/month to run. I attached a video of my tank. The lights are more "blue" than they come through on the camera.

Awesome thank you guys for responding! I more then likely will be getting those because they are such good price!

+1 for the Beamswork LED fixtures. I've been using them for about 6 trouble free months now and think they can't be beat for the price.
