Opinions Needed for an Unused Tank

I was thinking what to do with this overpriced 8g acrylic tank($60) that I used as a grow out tank for my flowerhorn for only 2 months..
I plan to use it as another filter for my current 65g tank.. or maybe as a planted tank..
What do you guys think?

Can a crayfish live peacefully in a planted tank?

A crawdad can live peacefully in a planted tank.
But your plants might not live peacefully......
