Anyone with expierence with chipped tanks please give me your opinions thanks :)

I've used tanks that have chips like that without problems BUT.... I made sure to keep the tank level and at the same constant temp, both of which can cause the chips to turn into cracks. if a crack like the top pic and bottom pick gets to halfway through the thickness of the glass its time to replace. you can get 40 gallon tanks from petsmart for $40 during the dollar a gallon sale. maybe it would be a good place for a reptile?

Thanks for the reply! I live in Canada so the closest PetSmart is 2 hours away, do you happen to know when the next dollar per gallon sale is?

It doesn't look all that bad I would probably re silicone it though whenever I get a used tank I clean it and re silicone it let the silicone cure for a week or two and it should be good to go for a long time
