Had a small clip on led from finnex for a 5 gal planted betta tank and loved it for a couple months then then whites dimmed and you reds and blues over powered them.

Thanks Brian. Something to consider I guess. And nice avatar ;)

Actually, now that I think about it, it says each LED has all 3 colors. So fading of one color should be non-issue.

I was looking at the same light for my 40 breeder. I went the cheaper route and got a 36" beamworks light for 48.00 shipped.

I was looking at the current satellite plus led light as well. They seem awesome with some nice features but they were over 100 bucks so I had to go cheaper.

I replaced my marineland double bright with the current satellite 2 weeks ago and love it. Of course 2 weeks doesn't test durability bet the difference a full spectrum fixture makes compared to a fixture with only blue and white is amazing. With the marineland everything looked washed out which I knew wasn't the case due to my feeding, filtration, and wc routine, once I turned the new fixture on it was like having a new tank.

The Current Satellite looks like a crazy light. The remote on the plus version is nutty. I'll add it to the list of possibilities. Anyone use the Monsterray?
