Well, I'm looking to make some additions to the tank and I want to make sure that everything will be compatible. I know that's all relative based on each fishes personality but just tell me if I'm set up for failure right off the bat

It would include

1 caquetaia spectabile
1 geophagus abalios
1 silver aro
1 chinese perch
1 reticulated stingray
1 thin bar datnoid
4 or so elephant nosesssssssss

I think that's it for now

If it did work it would be bad assssssss.
Something tells me the dat may not like the perch. It must be ms cleo or something

Yea i agree elephant noses are cool but damn hard to keep. Im afraid that they might not be able to compete for food.

I gree that the elepant nose would end up feeders. How about a gilled lungfish instead?

depending on how quickly the chinese perch and aro grow, the Geophagus may wind up an expensive feeder also. I don't know about G. abalios specifically, but most Geo's are fairly slow growers. Just something to consider. :)

The geo might show aggression to the ray and the elephant nose could be eaten by the ray. Other than that, it should work.

i wouldn't go with a retic stingray ..they are very delicate unless you get a bigger one...if the wind blows a different way they die

my aro shows no aggression toward my geos which are much smaller although my dat once eat a much smaller geo but my dat is huge.
i would say no the the mormoryds though unless you find some decent sized ones.
