Hey everybody, just wondering what everyone thinks of my current set up, and if there are any suggestions to offer.

Fluval FX5 and an Emperor 400 filtration.

Does anybody have any thoughts on black tahitian moon sand? I personally love it! It contrasts my background perfectly.

And eventually I'll have to remove some stuff because I have two Pbass, a hybrid cat, [which I will have to rehome at some point] and a silver arowana.

The canopy is currently being stained...

Nice background...not a fan of the flower pots or flourescent plants but that's just me
 
Thanks. The pots have no bottoms and my cats love swimming through them. However, I think they're getting taken out when I start planting. Oh, and the green crap plastic plants are as well haha.
 
1 fx5 for 50 gallons never heard that before(lol) btw tank looks good only thing i would add is a nice piece of driftwood(centerpeice)
 
yeah a nice piece of driftwood - flowerpots + maybe darker background (maybe not with black sand) = awesome.

Thats a hybrid RTCxTSN swimming into that flowerpot right? To small for me to tell but it doesnt look like a straight red tail.

It actually should be 1 FX5 per gallon.

No seriously, I know the more the better, but at 608 gph, that (1 FX5/50gal) would be 12x turns, now thats overfiltered. This filter is rated for 400 gal which I know its always BS, but its more than enough for 125 gal.
