Hey MFK! :grinno: I want some opinions on stocking a wide-180 gallon tank. After doing some threads on frontosas and red terrors. I want your opinion; should I go with a pair of red terrors or frontosas?

I would rather like to stick to cichlids, but if you have any other ideas, let me know :)

Frontosa/bichir/synodontis tank(my original idea)

Or community of cichlids not just RD's

I wouldn't waste a 180 on a pair of red terrors or a colony of fronts. Then again I'm not a big fan of either fish.

I think I'd go with a planted tank with a Leichardti Saratoga.

Well Bderick, I don't really want to have a planted tank and that fish kinda looks dull (No Offense). Kinda looks like an arowana in fact, a fat one.

i think you would be able to fit an aro in there, dimmensions? also bichirs, knifefish,i like fronts, freshwater 'cudas, oscars, there are lots of options.

I'm sure the leichardti is not offended:D It is in fact an Arowana, from australia closely related to the Jardini. Actually I'm not sure if leichardti do well in planted tanks like my silver and black do.

i'd do a cichlid community, either SA/CA or african....i personally don't like using that big of tanks for a single species....

Well, I picked these two for their color. And also, frontosas live in colonies and red terrors are very aggressive, so the female needs space to get away from the male.

Right now, the votes are 4 for each option..

id get a pair of oscars or maybe some dats?
