Opinions on what to breed in 37g

First off im new to this forum but have decent experience with fish but not a whole lot of breeding experience. Looking to get into the hobby more and learn more. Looking for opinions on a decent fish to breed. Not really looking for any typical live-bearers such as mollies/platies/guppies and so on. Maybe something like an easier cichlid/angels but im open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance

all that i kno about sexing them from reading thus far is females tend to have some other color other than black/white

forget convicts they are just a pain. id try kribensis or german blue rams, and to answer your question bout sexing convicts, the males tend to have trailing dorsal and anal fins and females have short pointed dorsal fins
