Opinions on whether or not world will end in 2012

well, ive got my opinion in my sig:
The world will not end in 2012. the mayan calendar was/is a big rock. it had to end at some point.

it seemed like this might have been a touchy subject, but i think most people believe the world wont end in 2012... just wanted opinions and if you think "the end is near" tell us why...

It's something I've very much avoided from thinking too much about. But too many religions are predicting so-right?

Nah it won't end, and if it does, all us Australians, (and britts, Irish, russians and germans, etc) will be drinking beer, so nothing in the world will matter to us anyways, lol.

There's nothing after December 31:eek: Is this the end? Would much rather have one of them "rock" calenders:confused:
 
hahaha me and my friends were talking about this.... well no.... in the middle ages they said the world would end......

Not a chance. World was supposed to end in 2000 also. Hmm, did that happen? If it did, I've been living a lie.
