I have just upgraded a 90G to a 125. I had arranged to sell the 90 as soon as it was available, but family happened and that deal fell through.
Now I have a local guy offering me this deal, a Rena XP3 with a stealth 200W (I believe-it could be a 300W) heater in trade for a used acrylic/glass euro braced tank. I opened up the barter at $175 for the tank and I have enough wood left from the previous stand to make a stand for this tank, increasing the value I'm sure.
Should I take him up on the Rena? So far the only other canisters I've used have been Cascade 1200 and 1500's. I can use this canister on the living room 35 hex, perfect for a messy fancy fat gold fish (the wifes...) Per Ebay pricing this is pretty close to the $175 asking price, just never used a Rena.
