This is on sale, not a bad price at all. I use prime religiously but this gallon is cheap.....thoughts?

1 gallon of prime treats - 20,000 gallons

It looks like this stuff is watered down compared to Prime.
Prime also removes ammonia and detoxifies nitrite and nitrate. The other stuff doesn't.

IMO, I would stick with Prime.

Exactly. I looked at every other water conditioner I could find on the market and Prime is the best.
No contest.

do you want 16 oz to treat 940 gallons like that stuff?
Or do you want 16 oz to treat 5,000 gallons like Prime. As well as providing all the other benefits Notorious mentioned.

sure it costs 1/2 the price, but it does less than 1/2 the stuff.

I've never used Prime but I have stock in API stresscoat, many gallons purchased over the years...
