OR CHEAP small tank

I am looking for a free or cheap small setup for my daughter, she wants some fish, but doesnt understand that nemo cant go in with daddys shoal of piranhas. I am out of work now, and her birthday is in a week, so money is a large issue.

I am in illinois near joliet, driving is not an issue, will gladly take that old 5-10-20 gallon tank with u/g filter out of ur basement or garage. you know ur wife wants it gone.

Just curious, have u checked your local petco? I know you're not in California but here they have 10 gallon tanks for $13.

I think they are even cheaper here. Ive seen them on sale tank only for like 8. But then they want 25 for the hood.
