I have 4 shortnose gars for sale (5 to choose from). They are starting to get big enough that I need to find new homes for them. They're all between 10 and 12" long.
They've calmed down quite a bit since I got them. They used to be pretty skittish, but now they're used to me moving around the tank, and are eager to be fed.
They're eating feeders with gusto, but also taking market shrimp, and I have had several eat both fd krill and slices of tilapia fillet.
These guys are rare, and aren't seen often!
I'm asking $25 each, which is a good deal for any gar at this size. I'll also consider trades for other gar, bichir, pikes, bass, musk/mud turtles, etc. Let me know what you have.
I'm willing to deliver, or meet within a reasonable distance, but it will cost extra for that.
