New Years resolution to find this monster a new home.
Rescued it about two years ago from living in too small of an aquarium for its first two to three years. Fish was over twenty inches when I got it but has only grown four to five inches since. I'm sure living in too small of an aquarium has stunted its growth. The fish shows now signs of deformity or poor health-a real thick, powerful monster! I kept it in a 12,000 gallon tank for about a year until it became too aggressive sizing up and biting other tank mates as food prospects-even while being very well fed.
Unfortunately, for the past year or so its been living in a 150 gallon stock tank-although being very well cared for. Eats Market Shrimp, Tilapia Fillet, and floating NLS pellets.
Hoping to find someone who might be able to enjoy it in more of a pond or large aquarium setup.
Looking for $100 or partial trade towards 16" plus wild PBB or wild Ansorgii Polypterus. No offer will be refused for the right home for this fish.
