i am currently looking for a new home for our pure bred bengals, both are female,3 1/2 yrs old, really nice pattern, would like them both to be together since they have been since kittens, need a home with no other pets as well i.e. other dogs and cats, they are not spayed as i was planning on a breeding but with the economy and other things going on i decided not to,both are tica registered but will not come with papers

i have a LOT invested as they are 100% F3 and F4 purebred bengals

both have a clean bill of health and up to date on shots

would trade both for a 180 gal. or larger setup or $500.00 for both ,have about $3,000 into both

working on pictures at the moment so please give me a few to get them up

pick up only in clinton township,mi 48036

thanks for looking

why are they not coming with papers tho.

hi, if they were coming with papers there would be a big asking price difference, i am mainly going to entertain trades at this time ,but would also sell them as well, you can apply for the papers since they are tica registered but it will not be cheap, i have a pic of a similar cat that is almost identical to mine and they were both bought from a local breeder thanks

PLEASE NOTE THAT PIC IS OFF THE NET BUT IT IS A IDENTICAL BENGAL TO MY TWO

dont mean to harp on your thread but why would you invest that kind of cash on an f-3 bengal, f-3's are not elligible for "stud book tradition" nor can be shown in any tica events, any cat below f-4 are usually adopted out to homes that are willing to adjust to the cats unstable nature as all foundation cats tend not to be real receptive of new enviorments, and if you do have papers why not include them in the trade, i understand it gives future owners breeding privileges but the economy is tanked, especially in michigan where you live and you can find bengals on craigslist all day long under 100 dollars, breeders are having a hard enough time getting 500 for fully papered kittens nowadays as i see them on ebay classifieds going unsold, sorry to post doubt in your thread, would hate to see someone spend that kind of money on a foundation cat unless of course that person knows what they are getting themselves into, i am no expert but i talk to a few breeders and own a papered 3 year old f-4 snow bengal i paid very little for

no worries mate it's all good, actually i have seen males that are a bit older, that are fixed ,no papers go for $150.00 -$200.00 ea. on cl, i also seen people give away free 180 gal. setups here in mi, so does that de-value all 180 gal. setups to a low price since people gave away free 180 setups?
after talking to a few breeders thats the price they told me to ask for,but i rather do a trade, hey i also see 180 gal. setups sell for 200-300 as well so thats why i rather do the trade instead of cash because of the economy

i also just got a lead on a nice male so i might just keep these two for now they are really nice cats

but thanks for your opinon and thoughts

really isnt the pricing that is a concern, im sure if you lived in a more economically stable area you can easily get a better price, was mainly concerned with the fact you mentioned an f-3 bengal, i was uneducated about bengals at one point and came across a f-2 that i adopted for free, beautiful cat, the spotting on those foundation cats are so much more pronounced, but the attitude and nature of this cat was somthing i did not expect, this animal was unsociable, would hide and deficate inside of my furniture and is just plain out aggressive torwads any other animal, it took me almost a week to get the thing out of my house, im sure F-3's would be a little more easier to cope with as they are another generation removed from the wild, not saying all foundation bengals act that way but i think best kept in a household minus other pets, children , friends, and pretty much anything that may stress the cat, asian leopards are real reclusive in the wild as its in there nature to avoid anything bigger at all costs, in my case i have children, a dog, and a "domesticated" bengal, and the foundation cat acted accordingly with my enviorment, i would do like you said and find a male domesticated bengal, you have a female atleast as male f-3's and lower are mostly sterile, if you are sure of your cats being f-4 and higher, you have good cats suitable for a good home, my bengal is a pretty good cat and co exsists with a cane corso, some arent so receptive, just want people to be aware as my expierience with a foundation bengal was catastrophy, along with quite a few other peoples expieriences with these
