i bought a orange xingu pike yesterday, he is about... 2.75 inches and the most beautiful thing i've seen, but he is not eating is this just stress, i worked at the store and i was the one to put them in but the Geo. Steindachnerai were little terrorists...even bit me, so i moved them and i took one home, understandably very stressful for it...

what are you feeding them? sometimes they are alittle resistant to eating pellets so trying to feed them something like else, maybe bloodworms might help at first. thats what my pike started on til one they they decided they liked pellets. lol

Mysis, bloodworms, black worms, brine, chopped up earthworms, and SINKING pellets work best. Pikes are normally gluttons, so its stomach should win it over shortly. ;)

Here is a young one, a six incher

He has turned very nasty towards the Polleni who is quite a bit bigger than him and used to dominate him. Now the orange pike bites the living hell out of the polleni whenever he sees him.

OMIGOSH he is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
