Decided to declare WW III.

Thought I'd give it a chance, bad idea.

OT: Has anybody ever seen a fish recover once it is laying on its side? I never have. I don't have the heart to euthanize it just yet.

I'm feeling a little guilty about the whole "experiment". I knew better.

i've got a 3" Firemouth at work that is recovering from being added to a tank with two 2" firemouths. he was on his side this morning, but by lunch was rightside up, so we'll just have to see...

My Oscar has recovered from laying on it's side many-a-times. Whether it's from being attacked and injured by my carpintis or JD, moving tanks, or getting spooked when I mess with things.

what size tank? and how big were the fish? I have an orange pike thats about 3" in with my 5" salvini. i wouldnt say they get along but the salvini has never outright attacked anyone.

Whats the problem now? Ya kinda left it blank. Cracks me up about the pike though, peeps get them thinkin they are nice and placid, then BAM, when they start to hit subadult they become totally different fish. Crenicichla sp. 'xingu I' are among some of the most aggressive Lugubris pikes out there, so I am not surprised it opened a can of whoop on your salvini...
