I just bought a 3" orange pike at the LFS the other day for $18. I just had to get it cuz it was very healthy and looked so cool. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on orange pikes. Like how big do they get, what type of fish they are compatable with, and what is a good diet for them. The lady at the LFS told me they only eat feeders, but i got it feeding on bloodworms for now. I have it in a 135gal with only a 3" green terror and 3 silver dollars. Any info is appreciated.

they can be taught to eat just about any kind of carnivore diet you choose but I have mine on hikari cichlid pellets (the cichlid gold and cichlid staple) plus he also loves thawed silversides.... heres a pic of mine he or she is about 8"
