Hey all, my ORB ray...aptly named Ray... is getting pretty large now compared to when I first got him. I'd put him around 12" in diameter maybe a bit more now versus maybe 6" initially. My question(s) to all you ray gurus is simple: when should I expect him to reach sexual maturity? Is this affected by the environment they are housed in? Is there a general size at which their claspers become more developed? Everything I've seen or read so far states that the claspers with be visible from the top when they are mature. His are still tucked underneath. The aqualog and a few other sources put these ORBs at 35cm when fully grown, should I expect him to be around there before he goes through elasmo-puberty? Thanks in advance for any good responses, I've read as many books or studies by reputable sources as I could find but nothing can replace down home experience. Since I've been on MFK I've learned quite a bit, thanks all.
