Only problem is, it sounds like it'll be smaller than my current Orino. The one I'm ordering in through my lfs is going to be 2-3". If I'm judging off of the pbass they usually get, this fish will be a lot closer to 2". My current Orino is 4", just starting to get along with its tankmates (dovii, rtm, vieja, festae), only eating live.

Should I keep him in another grow out tank by himself until he puts some size on? Will I be able to keep the other Orino with him or will the larger bass just eat the smaller pbass?

Also, how the hell do you get the WC bass off of live? The sucker won't even eat worms much less pellets.:nilly:

your taking a big chance, so if you have a grow out...it would be much safer. and plus your other fish are pretty agressive as well...dovii, festae oh my! gl

I would definitely keep them seperate if only to keep the smaller alive. You have some real monsters in that tank and a small fish will probably get bullied to death if not eaten.

Weird thing is, the red terrors ignore all but the vieja. The vieja picks on the mota, well it used to. The mota and dovii used to pick on the pbass but they are all doing fine with each other now. It's kinda cool to see them swimming around with each other and not fighting. The Orino used to have some split fins from the dovii, but not anymore.

Anyways, I guess I'll be keeping the new one in its own tank. It'll also depend on what size it is when I get it though. Aight, thanks for the suggestions, peace.
