well I am finally ordering my bigger set up on monday! and am pretty excited about it! I am planning on putting the big boys in there (red devil, midas, buttikoferi and clarias catfish) and was wondering what else I could keep in there?....I want something a bit different, so any Ideas are very welcome! even if its oddballs etc....although Ideally I would like another cichlid....something a bit different....not really wanting any more midas/devils, and one butti is more than enough for one set up lol! I was thinking along the line of a male jag, but would like to get plenty of options.

With the Male Jag the tank maybe well over crowded. With The butti in there and a midas.. i dont know how you want it to be with the aggression level.. oh also a red devil.. You can get a jag but it may not be the best choice when it comes to aggression. You can probally do a green terror.

as much as I love green terrors I would worry that they would be completely outgunned by the other residents, the idea is to have all males so there will be no breeding to induce extreme aggression, and have a reasonable number of fish in there to help spread the aggression.....but not to overstock it much, if at all.

no other suggestions?....I am looking at allsorts online etc, but want to hear ideas directly from keepers.

my vote....... africans!!! great peacock/hap tank! :) LOL

I already have my butti, midas and devil...and clarias, so not really an option....I used to keep and breed african cichlids for years, and since returning to the hobby am more into the larger cichlids now, but thanks for the vote lol :)
