I'm from nevada.. and up in oregon visiting family for a few weeks.. went camping this weekend at the Kilchis River, and set out some crayfish traps. Even baited with hotdogs (a proven favorite of crawdads in my experience) we caught all of two crawdads. In any event, they're currently in a cooler with a bunch of other little fish I have yet to identify, all found in the same trap.. 1"-4" and they look almost like gobies or swamp darters, only bigger. I haven't taken any pics of them yet, but I'm trying to at least find a website with pictures to identify these fish and having no luck.

Any ideas where to look on the web? If I turn up empty, I'll come back with pictures.

Thanks.

I don't have a reference handy for Oregon fish, but I would love to see some pics. There is a species of mudminnow there, if I'm not mistaken, that is very nice.
