Are there any people who live in Oregon that keep native sunfish or any other natives? There has to be a few haha

You should definitely do it! Where in Oregon are you? There are some pretty sweet fish here in Oregon
If you ever do get into keeping natives you should let me know so maybe we can help each other out with fish! Any other keepers in Oregon?
I do want a large tank for sunfish one of these days.
I just got a 125 and I want to put a few pumpkinseed and Green Sunfish in it with my catfish! Where are you in Oregon?
I'm just outside of Clackamas and I keep a ton of native saltwater species and just recently started my native freshwater tank. Only have a pair of sculpins and a bunch of native periwinkle snails but its 100% representative of the creek near my house. I did the tank as a semi aquatic setup so I could keep the native moss and ferns that are along the sides of the creek.
I think it would be so cool to do a semi aquatic tank like you described I'm just not a plant expert. But I've also wanted to do a saltwater native tank when I'm older with surf perch
