I need to move my adult (9") female blue tilapia (Oreochromis aureus) and I wish to offer it RAOK to a good home. Please only consider if you have space for it and can keep it long-term--I am sort of attached to this fish with a dog-like personality.

It is not the prettiest fish, but it could work in a big setup as a large dither. It is only semi-aggressive with other fish and is super hardy. I will try to get some pictures to post tomorrow.

What are you currently feeding it? Any pics?

It is currently eating Hikari cichlid pellets, but it will eat anything.

I'll try to get some pictures. I suppose I should if I am going to give away my only pet fish.

Are you interested in this fish Kolossus? Do you live in my area?

Yes I live in your area and am possibly interested.

Ok. Just let me know.

Thanks,

I have one that is 19" long. He is 7.5 years old. These guys get huge....

And yes they eat everything, but prefer algae disks to cichlid pellets. If you weren't so far away I would be on my way over already. Good luck finding her a home.
