thinking of growing some out in my 75 for the 150 or newer tank later...

any experience or other info, havent found much (in english) on them. Very nice pics though.

Oreos can be very attractive fish. The males at size rival some of the large central americans. They also eat algae which is a plus. The down side is that they can be very aggressive.

they get huge!

very colorful and not very commonly kept.

no special care required.

after you've kept so many fishes, you'll realize that most fishes are the same.

i def agree with that, because me and a friend did a test once. I keep track of water chanes, chemistry and have a heater but my friend just adds water after evaporation, doesnt check anything and doesnt have a heater.

Both our fish turned out the same except mine growing faster. we always end up with m/f so we also tested breeding which had no probs in either tank.
