Organisim all over glass and plants

I have these guys all over glass and plants. What are they and are they harmful. How do i get ride of them? They look like worms with 4-5 arms

damn its gonna be hard to get rid of these guys without medication. i have a 12" arowana in the tank, so gouamis arent gonna work.
 
I wouldn't worry about them. Unless you plan on breeding fish (they will sting the fry) there harmless to larger fish

I don't see why you'd want them gone, they're fascinating creatures. Pond snails are known to eat hydra, and would probably be fine with your arowana. Of course then you might end up with a snail infestation.

Hydra are notoriously hard to kill. They're called hydra because, if you cut one up into a hundred little pieces, you end up with a hundred baby hydras. I don't know exactly which type of "medication" would work, but be careful with such mixtures, as they can do more harm than good. Lots of weird stuff out there.
 
i dont know, they just look weird. i haven't noticed them before but now that i really check they're everywhere. i have snails already but they're pretty small. ever since i made my planted tank i've been getting all these hitch hikers. i got so much dero worms already, planaria, snails and now hydra.
