Original Plan

Has anyone else gotten a tank that was predetermined what was going in it, but gotten so crazy that you no longer have the tank that you originally planned for? I got a 75g tank and was hoping to keep 2-3 fish and then I ended up getting 7 fish. Now 2 of those fish have gone to better places...I hope. And I know some people would say, "Get another tank!" Unfortunately, I can't afford another big tank or have the room for it. I'm happy with the fish I got, but I just can't help thinking how it would've been if I just stuck to the original plan. Anyone else ever feel like this?

Been there, done that, ended up giving fish away.

my 125 gal. tank used to be a community tank of tetras and barbs, to a SA/CA cichlid tank, converted to an african cichlid tank, then i saw amano's work. so the new plan was heavily planted with tetras. that plan changed to heavily planted with predators. my gallery has them all.

i have always look at my own tanks lick a peice of living art work forever changing
and growing... never really had a set plan to say

It happens, sometimes. Ended up giving up the fishes or taking them back to the LFS before they get killed.
