Finally got my herd of cichla:) thought id share some pics..
the community is doing great. I thought they would fight more but its beem quite calm. . At least for now..

Thanks ... the green colour is amazing and theres lots of blue too when they hit the lights. I'm very new to bass....must say I do like these fish.:)
 
I read alot that orino are amongst the more aggressive of the basses.
But this lot are anything but aggressive...they are quite peacefuo and calm. Just very active qt feeding times.
Is this likely to change in the future?
. .. the group have been introduced to the tank for a few weeks now
 
Looking great ade, I dont think you can beat the colours on a really nice bass, tank is looking great mate

Outstanding collection! I like the bass tiger combination. You teall have to plan that. The tigers grow so slow. It looks like you have a good group.

Suprisingly ADE Orino act and will continue acting just as what you described ..The only threat is when they get continue to get larger something they see as FOOD you might just be missing that something LOL!!!Most of their aggresion is focused on each other as i am sure you have noticed....And by the way Beautiful!!!!
