ORINO cloudy eye....

one of my juvi orinos developed some cloudy eye recently, besides water changes and salt and making sure the PH is good what can i do to get this out of the way and get him back up to health?

Raise temp to 87 degrees

Add salt as well. keep the bass from getting stressed. did the bass get in to a fight?

tank is at 87 to begin with and no he didnt fight just slacked off on the WC melafix does that work well?

Just do water changes, no need to add meds. just use salt.

Don't go crazy with medication and any of that nonsense. Just make sure your temps are in check, add a little salt, and don't slack with the water changes. It clears up quickly on its own.

how much salt are we talking usual WC amount or more cause of illness?

Ok, cloudy eye is usually caused by dirty water. That said, do a 50% water change and a 1 table spoon the every 10 gals. How big is the Bass?

bass is 4.5"

Cool....just do the water change and the salt bath. If it gets worst, add melafix, but in 1/2 dosages.
