Orino gold spots

I just had a quick question about my orinos, when can expect to start seeing some gold around their black spots. They are 3-3.5" now

i have 5 orinos my self and they started to get theirs around 4inches or so but now they r close to 6 and have alot more

im with the guys above on this and say they start showing around 4-6inch and get more intense as they grow..

my half inch orino has gold all around his spots he is the next cichla sp. jesus..

Mine is 2.5"-3" and already has the gold....Sorry no pics my camera broke.

Yeah mine are at about 4.5 and the gold is starting to show alot on the alpha. Think it has alot to do with their stress as well. My submissive Orinos markings that the alpha is constantly putting in check are very dull and faded. But in the morning when I first hit the lights hes as vibrant as the alpha. Hoping these 2 new guys I got on the way ( Kelberi and wild Mono ) will take some of the pressure off of him.
