Here's a couple pics of my three TUIC Rio Meta Orino growouts they look dark in the pics? but they are sheen looking, at least they all eat carnivore and two will take sticks...thought I throw in a full tank pic as well 220G, the fake plants will come out once they are bigger, seems they like to hang there for cover.

Very nice cichla and setup. That's similar to what I'm invisioning for my next tank. Bare bottom, faux plant and all.

Thanks kendragon, I have this set up style for a while and it works for me, bottom is painted black but I have been tempted to tile it just havent found the right tile to make the change. I like the idea of fake plants but the ones I have are kinda out of place oh well its more about the fish at this time, thanks.....

You should try to put the plants between the wood so it looks more natural. You won't be able to see the bottoms of the fake plants IMO.

very nice !!!

S2convt I originaly had the plants in between the wood but the bass just piled up in that corner so I put them there for cover, hopefully it wont be long before they grow out of the plants and I can take em out...Last night I tried to feed some market shrimps a treat but only one took, I did learn that my poly ornate loves market shrimp but thanks for the replys...

In recently got 3 orinos also from tuic but I have them in a 10 g grow out before they go in the big tank. The other pbass are too big and I'm afraid they will be a meal instead.

They have started eating so hopefully in a few months I will introduce them intonthe large tanks.

You're orinos look good, looking forward to future updates.

Nice orino's and setup.....growing em out is the coolest part. SUch a drastic color/pattern change.
