Im about to pickup a group of Orinocos size 10-12 inch" I just wont to ask you guys if these will be ok with my group of kelberi size 10-12 inch" only ask as iv read that some Cichla species are more aggressive than others? and don't wont the new Orinocoensis to damage my kelberi

Also my tank is 5ft by 30 by 30inch so can I ask whot the max stock of 10-12 bass I can have safe! without the fish damageing each other to much!

Should be fine, I've kept many different species together including orino with kelberi.

I hate this answer but it depends on the specific fish. I had a very mean orino, smallest fish out of a group of 5 bass. Only my largest kelberi could keep him in line, chased him into the corner constantly.

Thanks for reply! iv dropped the temps to 22c / 74 f to help slow the aggression a little!

So it is"nt always the biggest cichla whots the most aggressive in tank or leader ??

Nah not always. My 3rd biggest in my tank is much more dominant than the bigger 2.
