Hey you guys...while i was feeding my Orinos today i noticed that their bottom mouths were red and looked bruised...do you guys think it could be from running up and down on the side of the glass? I feed them frozen bloodworms but i just drop one every 3 hours into the tank and they nibble at it...do you think it may be from nibbling form the frozen cube of bloodworms? It doesn't stay frozen really...it thaws once it hits the tank water since my water is at 88-90 degrees right now. Just wondering...not sure if this will mostly happen to most cichlas but does this happen to most cichlas kept in tanks? thanks in advance. Just curious as always.

2 of mine have it from rubbing on the glass... probably the same with yours.

i see...so its most likely from rubbing up and down on the glass walls. :nilly: hope it doesn't get permanent...lol would hate seeing my orinos get this young and stays like as it is to adulthood. :grinno:

Well it may or may not happen for long but you shouldn't worry too much as we all get this one point or another in time. At least they are healthy.
