A few of us are going to meet up for a little fishing again. The place has yet to be determined so any suggestions will be nice. In the past we had a good time on the Wekiva River catching some monster bowfins. The gar were out in force but we had a hard time hooking up.
I like to get out on the water so my nominations are:
1. The Wekiva River at the Wekiva Marina ($20 canoe rentals).
2. The Wekiva River at Wekiva Falls Resort ($5 canoe rentals).
3. The Little Econ River (bring your own canoe or kayak).
4. St. Johns River at Lake Monroe (bring your own canoe or Kayak).
I know of some lakes that we can walk/drive up to to get some hooks wet as well. In the past, we had talked about doing some LFS hopping so maybe we can do that as well.
PM me, Ash, or Chris for our cell numbers.
