I was wondering if having an ornate birchir and a dragon goby together would be alright????

I went to my local petsmart and they had these 2 dragon goby's and they look really cool...

My ornate is about 4 in.. and the dragon in about 5-6 in.... Im asking because they are both bottom fish and was wondering if they would fight. and i've heard that birchers will eat anything that will fit in their mouth but are not aggressive. I dont know too much about dragon goby's and was wondering if they are aggressive. they dont seem too much different to take care of then a bircher.

They would be in a 75 with a jardini arowana.

i have a dragon goby, they are really cool fish but they are very non-aggressive, they should also be in a brackish tank, but mine does fine in a fresh water with aquarium salt added . they kinda need a peaceful community tank they don't have much in the way of defense except for hiding, so they are not ideal for an aggressive tank, and i don't think they see very well. i used to have 2 of them but, not knowing much about them myself at the time, i put them in a tank with a convict and before i knew it one of them had lost it's eyes, and had to be euthanised. i now know better and the one that is still alive was immediatly moved and is now happy and healthy in a 55 with angels and discus. they are a great fish to keep just remember, no aggressive fish, little bit of salt and lots of hiding places.

Dragon gobies are brackish water fish and while they can survive for some time in freshwater.Their health will slowly deteriorate and leading to a slow death.
Bichirs on the otherhand are freshwater fish as your arrow is also freshwater-Anne

i got my dragon goby with couple bichirs, they dont seem to mind eahcother. how big is your jardini, does it mess with your bichir because i was thinking about getting one in my tank too
