I don't see why not eventually the Pbass will need a bigger tank but I've seen Bichirs and Pbass work. I think Fish has temensis with his polys
yes it can work but you have to watch and make sure the poly gets its fair share of food - pbass will hit the food as soon as it enters the water. polys on the other hand have poor eyesight and are very slow- just be aware of this. a simple pipe to drop food in to the polys will work - i have a friend who has rays and bass - he uses a 22mm pvc pipe to drop food right in front of the rays.
