the pics arent good but look at my ornate bichirs stomach! he ate my hujeta gar which was about 5"! i never thought he'd be able to take him down but lesson learned i guess

wow... that sucks! did you get your ornate here in michigan, by chance..? i have one, that i have about two years now, that has a LOT more contrast between the yellow and dark than the one in your photos.... also, the store i got him from has only been able to get the "washed out" looking ones as well since...i got a "freak", maybe..?
