Ornate attacked

Hi all,

I keep my ornate with a mbu puffer and it has taken some fin nipping over the few days that i have been away. it is about 4 inch long, i am wondering if its tail will grow back if i seperate the ornate from the boo. melafix and waterchanges help at all??

yeah it will grow back. keep it clean and add some salt. oh and i would just separate it from the puffer completely, they're known to be fin nippers at best

If it bit the actual ray of the fins off, it might not grow completely back, but it should be fine in general. Salt and higher temps

It seems like people think salt and high temps. cure everything.Actually just seperate them keep the tankwater for the ornate as clean as posible and it will be fine-Anne
