Ornate Bichir Breeding

I have one 12 in Ornate and i would like to get another to attempt to breed, anyone have any recommendations on tank size/water parameters? i know the big trick with getting bichirs to breed is playing loud video of thunderstorms, seeing they breed in the rainy season. Other then that, i know to take them out and let the fry hatch after laying, and to sort so they dont eat each other, no other fish in the tank (plecos etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated, also would love to know how big they have to be to successfully breed
