Ornate Bichir thread..........

This byfar is my favorite bichir... not all are they cool looking but they get big! Anyways if you own a ornate then please post in this thread.
Post pics, size, tankmates, etc.....
I will start.
My ornate is about 5-6''. His diet consists of market shrimp, pellets, and earthworms. Tankmates are as follows:
3'' Oscar
4'' bala shark
6'' tinfoil barb
2 3'' redbelly pacus
1 4-5'' fire eel
1 2-3'' red tail giant gourami
1 6'' clown knife

My ornates are about 14" and 11". Their diet consists of market shrimp, massivore pellets, and talapia.
Tankmates are as follows:

2 13'' laps
2 9" pollis

Nice, an Ornate thread. One of my favorite poly's, nicest markings IMO.

Here are two photos of my Ornate, a before and after shot if you will.

Currently just under the 20" mark, housed in a 120g for another week tops along with a couple of endi's, sen, del, weeksi, lap and a Congicus. There is a Dwarf snakehead, bullhead, bristle nose plec and a JD in there as well.

Food is Massiviorie, beefheart, tilapia, smelt and prawns with the occassional feast of earthworms.

Keep those Ornates coming!!!!!!
