Ornate Bichir

I bought a 3 inch ornate bichir and he’s currently in a 20 gallon growout tank. How many weeks/months and what size should I take him out?
My other bichirs in my 300 gallon are 6-7 inches.
He eats carnivore pellets and blood worms.

Keep water clean feed daily and he will be 6 to inches with in 4 to 6 months. Or at least big enough to be with them in that time.

You should stop by the polypterus section of the forum. (Found under Ancient fish). We would love to see pics of your bichirs. Got a great group of regulars over there. Also will get more response than here in the ‘General’ section when it comes to bichirs.
