I recently had a clown loach act as if he had toxic shock. and i found that my filter hoses had fallen off the back of the stand and were kinked. so i pulled the filter apart and cleaned the heavy debris and reinstated it on the tank. and when i turned it on a bunch of crap that had been in the hoses came out and clouded up the tank. so i imediately did a 50% water change, then did another large water change that night.
Today about 10 mins ago i found my 13inch ornate out in the middle of the tank which is very odd for him, he always is in hiding. but upon inspection i noticed his eyes look sunk in and his left gill bled slightly when i scared him. he is not responding to anything, i got him in a net and he just sat in it. normally he will fight me tooth and nail,,
Is there anything i can do for him? do i need to euthanize him to prevent suffering?
I have some melafix and aquarium salt..
