i have recently accquire 2 ornate yesterday (around 9cm) and fed them on the first day however one of them ate a full fish when the other half is meant for the other. His stomach seem bloated from the extra food and still seem rounded the next day, however he seems alright walking around lazily. Will there be a problem wth the bloated stomach? or will it die down after a few days shld i stop feeding it? they do seem nervous at times swmming up and down the tank

he'll be fine. poly's are quite the pigs and will eat a lot in a sitting. mine normally always have lumps in their stomach from feeding. unless its ungodly huge, then don't worry about it.

He should be fine as long as you arent feeding fish that are too big.. They like to pig out and then go lay down and be lazy...

i have always keeps some live fishes inside the tank in case they nd a quick bite. Now all the fishes are gone i am sure the 3 orantes have ate them. However, the one wth the lump still have the lump sticking out of his belly. Is is because he eats more than the others? he is behaving normally though wth no signs of distress. Shld i stop feeding them the next few days to see if the bump goes down?

Do i nd to separate him to another tank? or just let him be and not feed for a few days to all my bichir? What shld i do if the lump remians? Sorry but i am terribly worried for the bichir and do not wixh to lose him
