I just moved my 15" ornate in with my 12" flowerhorn and now he cant get any food my flowerhorn gets to it first what could i do

heres some options
when you feed use a divider to seperate them
feed the ornate after the lights go out
see where the ornates favorite spot is and "target feed' it
seperate them into different tanks
target feeding means put the food right in front of the ornate when shes in her favorite spot-Anne

How big is the tank? IMO the best option would be to separate them before the flowerhorn beats up the ornate.
If you want to keep them together feeding after lights out when the cichlid is alseep would be your best bet.

how about feeding your fh first until he gets full, then he wont bother excess food falling infront of him anymore.
