Ornate won't come out to eat.........

My ornate won't get out of this fake tree root to eat. I have tried to get her out but she won't budge. I am afraid that she isn't getting anything to eat at all, what can i do??

I had the same problem with my Palmas... then I noticed that he was waiting to ambush his pray... which was really cool to watch.

haha, yeah when i had my ornate it would do the same..when i put feeders in there...he sneaks up and ambush them.

Your Ornate will come out and scavenge after lights out. I hardly ever see mine eat, but it has had a very good growth rate. You have nothing to worry about.
